Savage, thanks for the information on Centipede Press.

I just looked through their site and only found one book my KEW. Alas, it was not one of the Kane collections.

Of course this does not mean they won't be printing them in the future.

In the meantime I found several titles there that I will soon be adding to my collection.

Thanks for the information. I've looked over the Kickstart and like what I'm seeing.

As soon as I can clear up some cash, I'll help fund this project.

Just heard about a film coming out this December. Given how well they did on the multi-part tv series, I am going to be there opening night for this one.

Since I started watching the series back at the beginning of season one, I've avoided reading the books because i did not want to have anything given away.

Each episode seems to be creating another aspect of this world. It seemed to start off as a gritty low level fantasdy series. Almost as if someone was writting a political thriller set in a sword and sorcery setting.

But now it is ramping up to be a gritty high fantasy story told in a world where the magic, and dark things on the edge of reality, are starting to make their presence known in the world.

I think after this season I'll start on the first book and see how I like it.

Btw, I would love a spin off series just dealing with Tyrion and Bron. Those two play off each other perfectly.

Turko,

Sorry I did not get these posted last night. Exhaustion and a soft sofa lead to falling asleep much earlier then I expected.

First I would recommend all three of the Kane novels. The quality varies, but, imo, all three of them are worth the time to read.

Bloodstone, Dark Crusade, and, Darkness Weaves.

While the short stories do not contain as much Lovecraftian creatures, several are still good for their horror elements and creepyness.

Mirage

The Dark Muse

Lynortis Reprise

Misericorde

I would recommend reading all the stories. IMO, Kane is the next great sword and sorcery character after Howard's creations.

the only problem being that the collections and novels are currently Out Of Print. And my understanding is that the Wagner estate is dragging their feet on allowing them to be reprinted.

So you may have to spend some time and money getting them.
