Hey Amra, I was just going to let you know that I was in Kingdom Comics late yesterday afternoon picking up Chronicles of Conan volume 12 and I saw that they had a copy of the hardcover Hall of the Dead in stock.

Amra, I missed out on it when it came out on May 30th.  It was on my pull list at Kingdom Comics (Vestavia), but they only got two in and those went to people that were aheafd of me on the list.  I did get mine the following week on June 6th.  They may be able to get one for you if you haven't got it already.  Which shop do you normally go to?

I have been trying to complete a full run of SSoC for the past couple of months. I've wiped out the local comic shops, only one had a good number of back issues. I was hitting e-bay pretty hard, purchased some from Amra here on this board. I finally purchased my final issue yesterday, #227. The most I paid for any single issue was around $35 for issue 235. Mycomicshop.com is a good website to pick up issues and nostalgiazone.com has a number of issues as well.


I never had that many issues of SSoC growing up, because my mom would throw them out and give me a lecture about rotting my mind. I've always wanted to go back and read them and I'm happy to finally have them all. I hope Dark Horse gets around to reprinting the SSoC, because I'll gladly purchase them. If they do they have to get Roy Thomas to write articles in the back like he does for the Chronicles of Conan series.

I have some SSOC & Conan Saga I'm going to sell if any is interested.

I am also interested in purchasing a few issues.
