About Me

My name is Elegast. My sister is married to Count Trocero of Poitain. I fell foul of him due to a matter at court. I do not wish to go into details. Since then he had me banished from all Aquilonia. I only took with me my charger, armour, shield, lance, sword, dagger and mace. Now I live a wandering exile in Ophir, Zingara and Argos. I hire my sword to whoever wishes it and lead a wretched existance going from misadventure to misadventure. Why Has Lord Mitra cursed me so?! I only pray to all the gods ( except cursed Set and his ilk!!! ) that Trocero will relent, that I will be allowed to return to my house and lands. Oh Wretched the father who engendered me!!!

Mitra moved strangely today. I met a strange knight on a lonely North-Zingaran forest road. Strangely enough his arms were Poitanian like mine. There was room for only one to pass. We quarrelled and charged each other with Lances. He was wearing an iron cat faced mask on his helmet. My lance pierced his eye. He fell. When I removed his mask, he reminded me of my son who I can no longer see. I do not know why I slew the strange knight.
