Advertisements And Comercials For New Conan Movie?"

17 July 2011 - 03:17 AM

Hello all,
If that new Conan movie is coming out in August, isn't it about time for them to start putting out at least a few advertisements and commercials? I have not seen nor heard of any yet! You would think they would have a serious advertising campaign going on to promote their new movie?!?

Snake In Hallway!

20 June 2011 - 11:56 AM

Hello all,
Had a bit of a scare: Woke up in the morn and waddled up my shadowy hallway and nearly stepped on a 2 ft snake. Thought it was a Copperhead at first! I nearly crapped!! Can you picture my 315lb self, in my "draws", easing up the hall, half asleep, eyes slitted and suddenly pandamonium as I danced, hopped, screamed, and jumped all around careening off of walls?!?
Turned out to be a Garter Snake. I caught him and took him outside and let him go. Probably came in under my door or something to get away from the heat out (been hot). But man, talking about something waking your butt up!!! Thought someone might get a kick out of that! You can bet your sweet arse I was wide awake aftr that!!

Finally Got My Napoleonic Mamoluke Saber Back!

28 May 2011 - 04:16 AM

Hello all,
Any of y'all ever got rid of something you regretted doing later, and was so happy when you got it back? Sometime back I let a lady friend of mine, who loves swords and guns, talk me out of my brand new Napoleonic Mamoluke Sword or Sabre I had just gotten from Military Heritage ( www.militaryheritage.com ). Although it was a bit heavy, or blade heavy, for me, it was still a beautiful and finely made sword and I missed it. Today she came over and took a liking to my three flea market fantasy swords (the rest are all tempered carbon steel combat ready) and the small spiked axe from MRL and traded me the Mamoluke back to me for those four items. Now the good ol' Mamoluke sword is resting back in its place on my sword rack. Good to have it back.
