thanks,ive got a more up to date one now, I think im gonna have to work on the mid section like erase or make some of the abes seem less visable.
I may also shade it and that could also fix my proablems.
I may also go back to the face. I also may have to make the hands larger lol

im not done with this picture yet and its mostly from memory. but its a picture of the statue called "the dying gaul" its proably one of my favorite greek statues, mostly cause I can angle it so I really have to see any of the naughty parts:P
but seriously I like this sculture because its shows the decline of a great people and culture as well it shows great character in the statue, the look in his face and the pain of defeat,it inspired me to draw it.

ive been trying to avoid the above mention areas, and since ive been doing this mostly from memory he isnt in the exact pose the statue is. but I like it so far.

anways I was wondering if anyone would have pointers for this picture, the one thing I think ill have a hard time doing is the pained look in his face.

I cant believe this thread is still going.
im gonna have to start drawing agian,I think my art has improved since I last drew that pic,I feel kinda ashamed seeing Cimmerian Illustrator's art,they are great pics.
I want more.

I would also like to add that the romans didnt get all of scotland.
it could be he did,he relates alot of his world and peoples to names of our world,like pictland and asgard.
