It's having a premiere in Austin tonight, at the South By Southwest festival. Maybe a very limited theatrical run (probably about the size of the US release of Solomon Kane), then probably home video and/or On Demand later in the year is my guess.
Edit to reflect the SXSW festival is IN Austin.

Knowing now that the character of Walter in the Big Lebowski is based on Milius, I can only imagine the surprise (and awe) of the Lebowski fans when they discover the absolute badass filmography of the inspiration. "I'm the barbarian of Hollywood."
"The dying planet needed a hero... what they got was a sasquatch."

Milius is quite a character. I met him a few times in LA when I worked in the shooting sports industry. Depending on when you caught him, he could be a bit arrogant and dismissive or engaged and interesting to talk to. Like a lot of creatives. We had a good convo once about his wish to do a film based on the life of the Kentucky frontiersman Simon Kenton, which I'd dearly love to see.
He certainly enjoys being the turd in the Hollywood punchbowl.
