That's awesome! :)

 Great sketch!!!
"Let me live deep while I live; let me know the rich juices of red meat and stinging wine on my palate, the hot embrace of white arms, the mad exultation of battle when the blue blades flame and crimson, and I am content. Let teachers and priest and philosophers brood over questions of reality and illusion. I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love, I slay, and am content" (Howard--Queen of the Black Coast).

Lol. Yeah, Schwarzenegger sucks. John Matrix, the guy from Commando, played by Ah-nuld, was a better character than Clonan.

Interesting fact there about the real Conan standing "head and shoulders" taller than Clonan. According to some claims, Schwarzenegger is actually only 5'10 and in fact he never looked extremely tall IMO. So the real Conan is probably more than "head and shoulders" taller.

I was just wondering, who would actually win in an official Conan the Cimmerian vs. Death Dealer combat battle actually???????

I've never read Death Dealer, but I'm sure the answer's Conan. ;)

The Death Dealer would at least put up a good fight first.

Hey Cimmerian7x! Since you're new to the forum, I'd like to point out that the "SEARCH" function on this site is excellent. B) It took me under 60 seconds to find this old thread with the exact same topic as your new one. :) The two threads are now merged, since we like to keep topic threads easier to access. :) Also, as a new member, make sure to check out the Forum Guidelines here:

Hope that helps. :)

Being a huge fan of both characters...im gonna have to say there really is no comparison between the 2 characters...they are both solid and can stand on thier own...but Robert E Howards creations are much more detailed and built for longevity!... CONAN wins!

Do you believe that Conan the Cimmerian would beat Bran Mak Morn in combat?

Do you believe that Conan the Cimmerian would beat Bran Mak Morn in combat?

I think it would be a good and very brutal fight , with Conan winning . Who do you think would win & why Cimm.7 ?

" You have a good point there,...put your helmet on & no-one will notice it ."
" Look for a long time at what pleases you... and longer still at what pains you "
So THIS is civilization ??!??!......

Conan the Cimmerian would probally win the battle because he's more stronger and more powerful than Bran Mak Morn I believe.

At the risk of being accused of starting another "Conan vs Godzilla" thread, I will engageing some speculation. Conan vs other non-Howard heros of sword and sorcery fiction, sort of a "Deadliest Fictional Warrior". The rules are simple: no holds barred. They may use whatever abilities and powers they have. These are some of the ones I've read. Others are free to add more if they wish.

ARAGORN - Lord of the Rings. The Atlantean Broadsword vs the Sword of Elendil. They could do it either as the Barbarian from Cimmeria vs the Heir of Numenor, or as the King of Aquilonia vs the King of Gondor.

RICHARD RAHL - Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind, (not Legend of the Seeker TV series). The Atlantean Broadsword vs the Sword of Truth. Barbarian vs Seeker, War Wizard, Master of D'Hara

ERAGON - by Christopher Paolini Barbarian vs Dragonrider

DRIZZT Do'URDEN - by Robert Salvatore The rogue Dark Elf of Icewind Dale in Dungeon and Dragons' Forgotten Realms. Wields the magic scimitars Twinkle and Iceingdeath

WULFGAR - Drizzt's barbarian protege. Wields the magic hammer Aegis Fang. Survived five years as the prisoner of a demon.

SPARHAWK - Elenium and Tamuli series by David Eddings. Crotchety knight who went toe to toe with gods.

CABE BEDLAM - Dragonrealm series by Richard Knaak Wizard and warrior who went toe to toe with dragons.

FAFHRD - Newhon series by Fritz Leiber Hard Living Barbarian vs Hard Living Barbarian.

GREY MOUSER - Fafhrd's thief chum. I think these two have already been done, but I wanted to include them anyway.

KOTHAR - by Gardner Fox Barbarian swordsman of a far distant future where the universe is contracting. Wields the magic sword Frostfire. Possibly a Conan clone.

RIKUS THE MUL - Dark Sun series from Dungeons and Dragons half human, half dwarf, on the harsh, unforgiving world of Athos. Gladiator slave turned freedom fighter.

SORAK - Dark Sun series Half elf, half hafling. A man of two worlds, accepted in neither. Once possessed by the spirits of his murdered tribe, with all their abilities. Even without them, he is still an army of one.

RAND al-THOR - The Wheel of Time series by the late Robert Jordan Fulfillment of numerous prophesies. Destined to go head to head with the Dark One. Wields a powerful magic sword.

LAN MANDRAGORGAN - Wheel of Time series. Trained Rand alThor in combat. Warrior bodyguard of Aes Sedai sorceresses. Rightful king of a vanishied land.

I won't pick absolute winners, but I will say that I think Conan has at least an even chance of beating anyone on this list.

I'm going to get sucked into this and say Rand al Thor could beat Conan, if only because the punk has lotsa magic. Conan would stomp all over that panty-waist Eragon, magic or no magic.

Please, no Atlantean broadsword. That would slow Conan down and possibly sprain his wrists. Let him pick up a random sword from a random battlefield, and he could beat anyone on the list.
"Did you deem yourself strong, because you were able to twist the heads off civilized folk, poor weaklings with muscles like rotten string? Hell! Break the neck of a wild Cimmerian bull before you call yourself strong. I did that, before I was a full-grown man...!" - Conan, in "Shadows in Zamboula", by Robert E. Howard
"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard

Fair enough. It is no holds barred.
