"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard

As far as primordial fears Conan have towards the supernatural concerns, well, I don't know anybody who wouldn't vince in terror at the sight of some undead demon or spooks from some dark and spiderweb wrapped darkness crawling towards them. However, the instinct for survival would abridge that to the extent needed not to freeze with fear waiting for this unknown "It" to happilly burp over his dead dismembered bones.
in an attractive and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand,
strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and
screaming?.. WOO HOO?. What a RIDE!?

Yes, Tarzan had much more oportunities to fight wild beasts than Conan because except from the huntings and ocasional fighting off their attacks he actually lived in the jungle and became it's lord eventually. However, Tarzan is of a noble modern descend while Conan is well... Conan. Having that in mind, having the equal if not better speed and reflexes than Tarzan, being of a bigger frame and undoubtly stronger, I somewhat doubt he wouldn't be able to cope with stuff Tarzan is equipped with. I would say that possibly, the hot and humid tropic climate would be a disadvantage for Conan, having in mind that he actually lived in the north and is of that herritage which is better suited to cope with extreme colds, winds, snow and ice, just as Tarzan would probably ended up as a frozen popsicle if he'd have to endure some time in Cimmeria or Aesir or somewhere far north.

Its really hard to say. Maybe Conan would win in a death match if Krotas does not wield the blade of Olympus?

By the way, sorry for some proof errors on the title.
