It's mean that summer in Cratian (Dalmatian coast) is very hot (42 C)

Don't fret over the spelling.Many of us over here are not native speakers of english including me.Take my advice: Watch a lot of english movies but avoid the ones with slang.

Ooh! Question for topic creator! I'm of Croatian descent. Is there a city anywhere in Croatia that begins with "Brad" or "Braj"? Someone told me the "-jic" in my name means "from." I'm trying to see if that's actually true.

Im Serbian, and lived in Bosnia for 13 years, and I can tell you there is no city by that name in Croatia unless its smaller town or village. "jic" doesnt mean "from" but that doesnt mean there is no village by the name Brajic (which is your surname I assume). From what I have seen in ex-Yugoslavia there were plenty of villages where many houses shared the same surname, so the village or even a smaller town was named after such a surname. Hope that was some help
