Good choices , Hayeks one of the prettiest in movies today - but would I buy her as a cut-throat pirate-ess ? - too cuddly by far ! & I keep seeing those shaggy UNI-BROWS she sported in that Frieda Khalho movie hahaha . I.m.h.op. - try as I might I can't picture any other actress playing Belit in a movie than Tia Texada - I've only seen like 2 movies she had small roles in & like ten or a dozen episodes of 3rd Watch on late-night reruns - maybe thats why she haunts my dreams at night ! Hottie......that ladies eyes are the most deep , & hypnotic shade of amber - or some other color there's no name for in our spectrum !
& as Seargnt Cruz- she could freeze a guys blood with how mean & even ruthless she was in that show ! Totally convincing as a hot-blooded Latina you wouldn't want to mess with .

Ya know what , your absolutely right Xaltotun - she was a Shemite & swore by ishtar , I completely forgot about that ( Queen/o/t/Bl.Coast is my least favorite Howard story anyhow) . Guess I'm not the only one though who gets the vision in their head of a Spanish or Portugeuse , Barrachan or Zingaran lady pirate with her moorish corsairs raiding the coast .
