Right now I'm listening to Corvus Corax - Para Barei.

This group is frickin awesome. I think it would fit very well with the Conan theme. I can just picture Conan assaulting the keep of some evil sorcerer. Its very medieval-ish.

The song in particular sounds like some kind of cross between celtic and middle eastern. Definitely check this group out.

I also recently got the new Blind Guardian cd, A Twist in the Myth. They are one of my favorites bands. Power metal is such an awesome genre.

The Bourne Supremacy soundtrack, and Raiders vs. Chargers in the background.

30 Seconds to Mars. For a pretty-boy, Jered Leto is one hell of a rock singer.

Now it does... another person I knew had a similar problem where their page was inaccessible for a short time via its name, but worked fine when you used the account number or smth...

song is quite nice tbh, only the rhythm guitar appears a bit thin sound-wise.

why does all this folk stuff lack bite and drive - I mean it's not bad, but it just goes on and on without really going anywhere, until it's just some boring background sound droning on... so much wasted potential there imho :/

Well, their live performance sure didn't lack any "bite and drive". The CD is truly great; I wouldn't want them to change a note. It's all just a matter of personal taste I guess...

Started fine, but then it turned into grindcore. To each his own, I guess.

I saw Dragonforce live the day before yesterday at the two day Metalfestival "Metaltown" in Gothenburg, Sweden, so right now I'm listening to them. Dragonforce was a nice surprise since I had not heard them before, and I thought they were great.
