GRRMartin says "When I walked onto the set it was as if I walked into one of my dreams. It's exactly as I visualized it."

I could cry.


We can only hope that someday, an REH scholar's going to walk onto the set of a proper Conan film with those sentiments.

Good for Martin, though. If this series is successful, it's yet more proof that fidelity to the source material can translate into moolah.

I don't get HBO; I hope it eventually ends up on DVD. I will pay whatever it costs, using the money I save by waiting for the new Conan DVD to drain into the bargain bin.

My husband read these novels and loves them. I am looking forward to seeing this and I am happy to see Jason Momoa in this! But that may change after I read the novels.
