I did update the Forum a few days ago but as it was far from the complete overhaul of a few updates ago I just went ahead and did it without taking the Forum down. So that's why you see some slight changes here and there.

Just wanted to say I appreciate the improved streamlining and effiency. :)
"Did you deem yourself strong, because you were able to twist the heads off civilized folk, poor weaklings with muscles like rotten string? Hell! Break the neck of a wild Cimmerian bull before you call yourself strong. I did that, before I was a full-grown man...!" - Conan, in "Shadows in Zamboula", by Robert E. Howard
"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard

Jay I stumbled across this section while stalking Irons posts ;)) I am doing a short animation of REH poem Miser's gold which I sought copyright permission for comic strip for TGR way back, but just thought 'oh hack', have I took liberties with doing animation?! I am doing a 2 min animation project with brother of said poem with a full Two Gun Bob tribute with his house and graveyard in intro, then the poem in animation. Is this ok? I can stick thanks to CPI at end if ok also.

With the "news" about Arnie coming back to Conan what are Paradox's comments as they've been mentioned in the news stories?

We have no comments at this time other than that we're looking at various opportunities to bring Conan back in some form of entertainment, film and/or tv.

Keep us posted Jay. I think it's encouraging to see that Paradox continues to explore additional opportunities, despite the less than blockbuster returns generated by Conan 2011. I felt Jason did a great job, and many of the film's scenes were awesome. However, the film as a whole just didn't work. Here's hoping it all comes together in the next version, film or tv mini-series.

Oh, and by the way, any chance of seeing Conan back in print in some all-new adventures? I would love to see a few more, or possibly a collection of short stories by various authors as a tribute to REH.

Thank you TDM. While the previous movie was a disappointment it was in no way the death of the property. Regardless of the boxoffice outcome it still brought the brand out there to a whole new audience to whom we now can introduce REH's original writings as well as the comics, the MMO et cetera. New stories about Conan and the Hyborian Age is something we've been mulling over for a while. Nothing concrete yet but I'm sure it'll happen at some point.

Sounds good, Jay! I cherish REH's original tales, but I have also enjoyed many of the Tor pastiche novels, especially those by Roberts and Hocking. I look forward to new adventures in the future.
