Thanks for the info on SFX, hollycole. Check out Paul Berrow's comments on the SK Film Reviews thread. He acknowledges the March date for the UK and hints of a possible US release the same month to coincide with the UK date.

I always find what IMDb prints, and doesn't print, interesting. On their release dates there's still no mention of Evil Thoth Amon's Spain or Croms bells' Singapore, but they have added Kazakhstan on December 31st.

Well if Evil Thoth Amon has seen it already, rightfully I should hope to see it here too, very very soon!!!

The official release in Spain is January 1 (two days from now). I saw the film only as a cinema critic.

Well here it is. Opening night we landed the number 2 slot very slightly behind the mighty Avatar in the stats. This is really great news for the start of the New Year....the distributors are very happy and tell me the natural response to the film has surprised even their optimistic expectations. They have been great believers in the franchise right from the start and supported the unique approach to the material. I can see the Spanish speaking world going bright green on my web audit software this morning. Its an important language in global terms as you can imagine.Roll on 2010!

Excellent news-let's hope when it opens here in England it goes to number 1 (no avatar in march to steal your thunder!)

Nice to see SK starting to hit the big movie magazines in the UK. Should generate some interest prior to release. :)

Mr Ross is a big fan of Solomon Kane...which might help a little!! He collects the Classic Editions.

IMDb is still showing a UK release for February 5th, although WS says look for March. It's also added Estonia for January 29th.

Which means: he collects the old Weird Tales with SK-stories?
Or what do you mean?

I've been off the internet for much of December, so I don't know if this has been verified. The Facebook page says the North American release date will coincide with the UK release date; if so, who is the distributor?

Hey, Taran.

Wikipedia has been saying that Rogue Pictures, an American outfit that specializes in upscale horror films, has picked it up. As far as I know, no one connected with the film has confirmed that.
