I didn’t realise there were so many die hard Solomon Kane fans in the world, well 2 anyway.
You got to love that one. I love argumentation based on majority vote hahaha... that's loosers discussion techniques. "But Windows is so much better... why else do all people use it?"... "World of Warcraft is da best game... why else do millions play it?" *eats his hat*
Atleast you managed to keep some calm. My second post didn't get past the moderation ...

That would be a red lettered headline, Al-Dog, but I think the Variety writer is referring to the release dates posted on IMDb for France and Belgium. I would think if "Solomon Kane" had a U.S. release date Wandering Star would have been all over this website with the great news. Still, if the Davis Films PR department has slipped one past him that would be huge and most excellent news. Let us hope there is some confirmation.

*sigh* I’m getting restless, and starting to jump at the slightest bit of news.

The panel went well. Seemed to make a few converts - well about 5,500 out of the 6000 there. For a movie almost no one knew about, we came out with all guns blazing and people were pretty impressed.
You're not very likely to see any clips make it online as the stewards are really observant about videoing.
This trailer is NEVER going to be released officially online - much to my disappointment - because we do not have music rights clearance on the music used. It was a Comi Con exclusive. Sorry folks. You can go as crazy about this as you like but imagine how I feel. This movie was made to be seen and I'm waiting in limbo too.
There was a signing afterwards but no one promoted it. James and I were pretty embarrassed to find no one in line and 1000posters piled up and ready to go. A few people did find their way to us but apart from some dedicated loyalists, most were just autograph hounds who would have queued up for anything. Damn shame.
Any release dates you're reading online are pure bunkum - you guys HAVE to stop looking at them. IMDB is not a reliable source, trust me. Sam Hadida is releasing the film in France and even he hasn't decided on a date yet.
Kane 3 set in America. My bad, on that one. I hadn't really given 3 any thought and just kinda punted it out there on the spur of the moment. I knew producers had dabbled with an American set one and I liked the idea of native American iconography and remember (maybe incorrectly, now I think about it) that Kane had said he learned to track from American Indians... anyway, movie 1 isn't even out yet, movie 2 is just a vague dream away so movie three shouldn't even merit discussion at this stage.
Er... that's it. Gotta fly. (quite literally, I'm at the airport)

I'm sorry to have missed you and Mr. Purefoy at the signing. I was really looking forward to it, but I know it's not your fault. More importantly, the Panel did seem to go over very well and helped to build awareness for the movie and the character. For that Thank you very much. Security was VERY tight, but my sister was able to take some video of the Panel discussions (but not of the clips or the trailer itself...sorry everybody

Well, at least we aren't going to be biting our knuckles waiting on that trailer, thanks to Mr. Bassett. It is very late and I am headed for an unpleasant (not serious) medical treatment early in the morning, so it may be a while before my next post. I just wanted to tip the mead horn to Puritan, thundarr, and especially Michael J. Bassett. I was looking at video shots of Puritan's and thinking Mr. Bassett looks as much a movie star as Mr. Purefoy. Maybe he should start thinking about some Hitchcock-style cameos.

Wow dude, you're lucky! I'm over a thousand miles from being able to get exclusives like these. I'm jealous. Tell us about the footage bro!

"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard

FROM ROBERT E. HOWARD, THE LEGENDARY CREATOR OF CONAN
Somebody at Paradox needs to send these guys a box of chocolates. That's right, REH's name over Conan's, and and "Legendary Creator". Ya gotta like that.
And I didn't get the poster, and indeed had someone vaguely associated with the movie assure me there were none to be had. I am sooooo disappointed. I really wanted to shake hands and offer support and congratulations. Oh well.
