All I'm asking is that if you post a link here please try and keep it connected to a fantasy or sci-fi theme. No matter how losely connected.

Great song, shame about the video!...Knights of Cydonia...
At the risk of embarassing one of our friends here... Swordplay from "The Frost Giant's Daughter". Shorter and less worthy than "Barbarian Broadsword 101", but - well - nice moves, K!
Cheers,

Anyone ever heard of Mike Jittlov? My favorite stop motion animator. I am always glad to be able to share his work with those that might equally enjoy it!
You might remember his feature film from the mid 80s, The Wizard of Speed and Time, which Kelly Freas did the artwork for BTW. Sadly, other than this, his only other work (that I know of) consists of some excellent shorts made in the 70s and an animation for a UCLA film class that is delightfully morbid.
Enjoy!!!
Mike Jittlov: Good Grief (1970)
Mike Jittlov: The Wizard (1979)
Mike Jittlov: Time Tripper (1978)
For more quirky goodness about this odd fellow go here:
http://www.wizworld.com/
Please note: The quality of these may be a bit rough, but I'd rather see them unrestored than not at all.
Please note further: All the above video links are dead and here is why.
Hi Tom,
A Jittlov fan (who shall remain nameless) on Youtube kept pestering me in removing them both here and on alt.fan.mike-jittlov. I hesitated for a month and preferred to get the word straight from the horse's mouth.
I finally contacted Jittlov about it. Jittlov wants to put up good transfers of his films on iFilm and hopefully profit from it. He said he would not get a chance if they are available elsewhere. I would've preferred to keep them up, but as I don't own copyright, I prefer to abide by Jittlov's wishes.
Jittlov doesn't own copyright to the WoSAT movie, so those stay up.
Cheers,
Terry
Well, all I can say is that I wish Mike Jittlov the best with all of his works. He has certainly produced some great animation over the years.
For the curious, a little sample of Mike's work from his movie.
Mike Jittlov: The Wizard of Speed and Time (1983)
The internets can be a fickle thing. I take no responsibility for dead links.
Tom

Looks like they removed all of my videos.
I must have ticked someone off.
Is there another site like Youtube that is more reliable?

"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard
