My favorite Conan image in film or print is that of the mighty Barbarian on his throne, with his classic head on fist pose. This inspired me to make my own little Photoshop work of myself, in a similar pose. All the armor is mine, except for the greaves. I chose the dragon throne, as the dragon is my own personal emblem.
The dream of all men....only to realize we didn?t dream far enough.

Its surprising how popular that pose is, here are some other Conan lovers at it.

Since the thread creator started with pics of himself, we can focus this thread on Conan-inspired photos, male or female.

Here is the source of that last photo (not safe for work):

Ah , great site there K. ! I was kind of enjoying the 'full-figured' goth looking models at the bottom of the page , it probably says more about me than I should , but I like 'em curvy ( it's a new millenium - if you can count their ribs - they got 'issues' !! ) Maybe it's so they can't get away so quickly when I start tickling 'em ! :P 'Frazetta-esque' - but you can keep the 'Rueben-esques' .

I prefer the Frazetta-esque Weird Tails too, PB!

I's a pirate cause I likes the booty! Aaarrgh!
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream. - Edgar Allen Poe

It's the olden lure, it's the golden lure, it's the lure of the timeless things. - Robert Service

For the myth is the foundation of life; it is the timeless schema, the pious formula into which life flows when it reproduces its traits out of the unconscious. - Thomas Mann

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. - Norman Maclean

The website looks like a music video for Evanescence.

I bet the artist Joseph Vargo would like the stuff there, too. It reminds me of his Gothic Tarot.
