What a awkward name for a topic right?

Well its wierd how REH's stuff creeps into other titles knowingly, or unknowingly. The Darkhold Redeemers was a Ghost Rider spin off series about a team of detectives searching for pages of the enchanted Darkhold book of C'Thon.

The story goes like this:

"The evil Elder God known as Chthon put into writing all his evil works and spells. It remained as the Darkhold after most of the Elder Gods were slain by the Demogorge. (Chthon and Set both managed to escape, but each were later banished to other dimensions.) Originally a collection of parchments, often refered to as the Cthon Scrolls, the pages were later bound together into a tome as "the Darkhold." Also called the Shiatra Book of the Damned, or The Book of Sins, the Darkhold has served as the source for other spellbooks, such as the Necronomicon. The pages of the Darkhold are enchanted to be indestructible, so that may always serve as a conduit to the Earth-Realm for Cthon's influence and power. " - Marvel Database

Blade read a page of the Darkhold and became the Demogorge and went bezerk and almost destroyed Ghost Rider (albeit a weakened form of him), destroyed Morbius, Demogoblin, the Nightstalkers, Werewolf by Night, and almost all the Marvel monsters in that series. This was one of the coolest story arcs ever and Switch-blade as Blade was known really did some damage to the Marvel Universe before he was ultimately defeated by another page of the Darkhold.

Check out the link from Marvel Database to see how it passed on through the Hyborian age:
