"So I took to a life of adventure and daring
leaving most warriors drooling and staring.
After I danced with my exotic flesh baring
I would vanish into the new Sunrise glaring."

Here's some youtube links for Cthulhu based songs.

If I Were A Deep One

Tentacles!
Lyrics start at about 1 minute in.

Shoggoth

Byakhee
Animation sucks but, the song is great.

Oh Cthulhu
"I vanquished Law once, I'll conquer yet again--
And force upon Mankind the Freedom he fears--
And dead gods I will again defy?"

What do y'all think of squid-faced Capt. Davy Jones as depicted in Pirates of the Caribbean?
"Did you deem yourself strong, because you were able to twist the heads off civilized folk, poor weaklings with muscles like rotten string? Hell! Break the neck of a wild Cimmerian bull before you call yourself strong. I did that, before I was a full-grown man...!" - Conan, in "Shadows in Zamboula", by Robert E. Howard
"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard

The Behemoth (cant find a pic  The one at the climax of the HELLBOY film. Not sure the Lovecraftian deep(old) ones names... the one that is tuberous with tentacles on both ends, and walks upright on the lower tenticles,, It reminded me of that one.

Just learned this today:

From Hellboy the movie-

The title "The Right Hand of Doom" is derived from a short story written by Robert E. Howard, telling of a necromancer, controlling his severed hand to commit a final act of revenge. Whilst this story has little bearing on the Hellboy universe, many of Howard's other stories, especially those featuring the hero Solomon Kane, can be seen as influences in Mignola's work.

Another real world inspiration for the hand may have been a co-worker of Mignola's father whose hand was replaced with a prosthesis after the original was lost in an industrial accident.

"The Right Hand of Doom" may also refer to the Nick Cave song 'Red Right Hand', and/or John Milton's portrayal of the Hand of God as a 'red right hand' in Paradise Lost. (Though Cave's song was inspired by Milton's word use, the hand in the song refers to the hand of Lucifer.)

That film was soo lovecraftian wicked!
