"Our basic purist premise:
ROBERT E. HOWARD, ENTIRELY ALONE, WITHOUT ASSISTANCE FROM ANY OTHER PERSON, CREATED THE CHARACTER CONAN OF CIMMERIA. NO OTHER PERSON OR PERSONS SHOULD BE INTRUDING THEIR WORK INTO THE VOLUMES OF HOWARD'S CONAN STORIES.
In essence, we believe that the work of any creative artist -- writer, painter, illustrator, musician, what-have-you -- is a unique expression of an artistic point of view. It should not be appropriated or altered by others without the artist's consent. No other writer has Robert E. Howard's unique point of view, and no other writer knows what Howard would have done with his character had he lived. Upon his death, his canon, the expression of his artistic vision, became fixed. Tampering with it now is desecration."

The new Spartacus is decent but the slave rebellion actors are not too good. The story need others too.

The last ep story with Doctore, Gannicus part was epic and first ep this season i thought was as awesome as last seasons.
The fights in the gladiator arena was something special.
I was wondering what this episode would've looked like without Gods of the Arena. How would Gannicus been introduced in the series had Andy not gotten sick? Would this have been a whole flashback episode bookended with the bits with Oenemeus?
But they really upped the ante in this episode, just when you think they couldn't think of anything else!

Speed up the slo-mo and remove the flashbacks and that's about a half an hour total.

Turlogh shook his head. "Not so long as the race lasts."

They ran a "marathon" this weekend with five episodes. Is this the season? Just five eps?
Speed up the slo-mo and remove the flashbacks and that's about a half an hour total.
new episodes in 2 weeks
this season is 10 episodes long
during the fire scene i was wishing that they'd show part of the arena walls crumbling
& revealing the dryed up remains of Tullius (bad guy from GotA)
many i'll send into the ground, laughing as they die"

Last year on French TV, the same channel (W9) showed season 1 with expurgated versions in prime time and the uncensored episodes late at night.Has anyone tried a family-friendly edit of the show? You could have the opening titles (minus blood-spatter), 30 seconds of footage from the epsiode, ending in the closing credits (also minus blood-spatter).
