Fans of Conan;

It's been talked about here before, and it's about to be 20 years old now.

RSI's Hyborian War Play By Mail Wargame set in the world of Conan.

There is a decent online community of Conan Fans that actively play this game out on www.warbarron.com. As with anything, fresh faces are a great thing. Since if you are reading this you are into REH and Conan, you might like HW if you are into gaming.

The game has a retro feel and is played by mail and is totally opposite of the popular MMORPG format where things happen instantly and you can play for hours on end. By mail your turns come once about every 16 days.

Anyway, I just picked the game up a few years ago after seeing an ad for it on an old Savage Sword of Conan comic and have grown to really enjoy the game as well as some of the players, many of who play the game in "character" online which adds to the experience. And since I have been a reader and fan of Conan before that I thought I'd throw it out to this forum to see if anyone wants to try it out like I did, I am sure you will enjoy it!

It's been years since I played, but your post made me hop over and send for a set up. I forgot how much I enjoyed it back then. Thanks for reminding me :)
