You never know what happens behind the scenes. It very well be, that Lionsgate approached them with the task to withhold their game, pimp it for a movie-tie in release, to promote the movie around it's release.This game was supposed to release this month. Not sure what happened. They changed their homepage, put their blog in maintenance mode (i.e. removed it), and their facebook/twitter pages have been stagnant for a month. Not exactly what you'd expect just before launch.
It would appear they're getting ready for a complete redo, but it shouldn't take 1-2 weeks of your website being inaccessible (for information at least) to do it. Really getting tired of all these product launches being so half-assed and the lack of quality control.

And that's fine. I'm all for delays when they make sense, but you don't go about doing that by shutting down all communication with your fan base.

What happened here? Video pulled off Youtube, facebook silent, twitter silent?
My guess: Lionsgate knocked on their door and asked them to make a movie-tie in version and release it closer to the movies release as a cross-promotional effort? Would make sense and be good for the success of the game in return.

Not to be a downer here.... but are games on an ipad/iphone really all that good?
I mean, I have no smartphone, or pad, or ipod. I have a plain old cellphone that makes calls and my wife can msg me. I use my gaming console when I want to play, my laptop for working/coding, and I have a home PC for personal stuff like editing/rendering/etc...
I just don't see the need for this tech at all. And that's funny because my company builds these things. I sit in meetings and everyone else is going on about "ooo can't wait for that feature" and I sit at the table going "meh, who needs it?" and "...another way to let apple/google get more data about you".

This game sucks! It has the worst controls and the top down view on a puny Conan is not suited for our favourite barbarian. There is absolutely no collision detection.
Something can be word for word REH and still suck. If it is game and doesn't have the correct game mechanics it doesn't matter how closely it follows the canon; if it is a movie and doesn't have the correct look, feel, or direction, it still doesn't matter; it will suck

Finally picked up this game for my new iPhone. Completed the first quest - killed the Kothian in the bar. I like how they are using Cary Nord's art from the Dark Horse adaptation for the cut scenes. Not the best looking game but I am looking forward to Yag-Kosha.
