One of the last, and most beautiful, strongholds of Sword & Sorcery short fiction in print.

Some of you will recognize the stunning cover by Donato Giancola.

In this age of diminished expectations in publishing, magazines, and short fiction, Black Gate holds the standard high.

Thanks for getting the word out. This one's going to be as jam packed as the rest. These days we're just stuffing them full of sword-and-sorcery. What do you do with too much of a good thing?

Hopefully you savor it while you have it!

It will be available online via the web site as a PDF once the physical issue is available. We'll make a big announcement on the web site when it is, and I'll drop by here to make sure everyone knows.

More Archivist stories are always good!

You must surely have enough for a book-sized collection by now (nudge-nudge-wink-wink) . . .
"It is more than a mortal sea. Your hands are red with blood and you follow a red sea-path, yet the fault is not wholly with you. Almighty God, when will the reign of blood cease?"

Turlogh shook his head. "Not so long as the race lasts."

I second that "nudge-nudge-wink-wink."

This looks really, really good. Very possibly the best BG yet. Can't have too many Archivist or Kyth tales. B)

There are not *quite* enough archivist stories for a book yet. I keep pushing the author to write more. I think he'd be delighted to find out that there are fans out there like yourselves who are enjoying the stories.

I just read a new one last month, and that brings the unprinted ones up to about three, so you have some good stuff to look forward to.

I cant read books, stories online PDF or what not. I was wondering about the physical issue being available to buy and get in the mail. Like you can buy other mags, comic books online.

I dont know maybe the US to Europe shipping is too much for it to be worth it.

Hi Libaax,

We can certainly ship it to Sweden, though of course it costs more to ship it overseas. I'm afraid it doesn't show up on Swedish bookstore shelves. But, yes, if you want to go to the web site and buy online, we'll be happy to send it your way. I think you'll like what you find within.

best,
Howard

Is the paper-mag sold in the UK by any sellers ?

[ I searched UK amazon and the forbidden planet site for it: nothing. ]

Please advise?

AVATARS GALORE
HYBORIAN Limericks + Rhymes
Lots of FUN and serious new RHYMING Hyborian/Fantasy poetry.

"So I took to a life of adventure and daring
leaving most warriors drooling and staring.
After I danced with my exotic flesh baring
I would vanish into the new Sunrise glaring."

I don't think we have a European distributor, which means direct mail is probably the best way. Let me check with the publisher, though, in case something's happened recently that I haven't heard about.
