I don't know if anyone has tried this.

I just received a promo email.

They will be selling 'Conan the Barbarian' digital comics this coming weekend, May 28, for $0.99.

They say they are the "old-school" - the Marvel reprints. I don't know, though, if they are doing individual issues or if the collected (e-)tpbs are being offered.

Has anyone downloaded the Dark Horse digital Savage Sword of Conan trades or the Chronicles of Conan trades? I am wondering how they look and read?

Also, there are currently two free Conan comics available to read:

I actually took a look at these this morning, pretty good bargains. Some packs seem to be missing (The Tower of the Elephant pack #20-23 was noticably absent), but they already have CTB #7-9 up for sale as a pack.

I've been grabbing many digital comics on-sale between Dark Horse and Comixology over the past 2 years.

I finally bought an iPad last weekend, so I don't need to read through the web browser and can use apps now.

It's like digital crack, man!  ;)

Comixology have sales going on nearly everyday.  I just bought the collected Neozoic Volume 1 from Red 5 Comics last night.  It's on sale through tomorrow, I think.

And yeah, I might grab that #1 DH bundle tonight.

You just beat me to it, I had the link ready to go. :-) Great news, I'm probably going to take a look tonight and see what I have to catch up on, then plan accordingly so as not to burn a hole in the credit card. Shadow Year One is definitely on my radar screen. I'm actually signed up for both comixology and DH, but I found DH's easier to use.

Yeah, I'm with both, too.  To control burning that hole in the credit card, I tend to wait for sales.

I think it's a good move for DH but outside of DH titles I'll probably stick with Comixology.  I think they have better sales going.  But, I suppose if the publisher dictates the sale, then Dynamite titles would be the same at both places.
