I'm surprised McFarlane hasn't gone for it: they've already done two Conan series, after all. Maybe we'll see some enterprising customizers.

Fans sort of went after them after the fact.So they are good sellers now but not when dealers had them in stock.
But they did not have a movie pushing them...but big movie does not mean big sales (avatar toys sold like crap).
Toys are slow right now,but with Conan falling into the "superhero" realm he should be a solid seller.
Well we can wait and hope.

What is confusing is, the question, "Will an R rating also hurt it at the box office?"
Some people would say, "Well, you can tell a more mature story with an R rating."
I think many times that's just an excuse by filmakers who would rather abuse gore or sexual content to make up for a lack of story.

Fredrik & Leslie Buhler said that they were looking at action figures, but none of the manufacturers were biting: apparently they weren't sure it was a proven property just yet, with no big-name actors. However, they did say said manufacturers were keeping a close eye on things, and are hopeful to see some fruition at least by the time Conan 2 comes along.

I hope they don't get a crappy company to make toys like they did for the new Transformers movie. I dished out so much money on those toys and they were so cheap and fragile that every time my daughter would play with the Bumblebee the doors would pop off and other parts would just snap. I still have some original Transformers and I can't believe what a difference in quality!
