Really glad I got to talk with Al Harron and Jeff Shanks by phone on Saturday. Sounds like everybody had a great time!

As it is, I'm raising a glass to the shade of Mr. Robert Ervin Howard today.

As I look out over the Vegas Strip - quite a change coming directly here from Cross Plains, suiting up for a tradeshow - I wanted to say thank you to everyone who participiated in this year's REH Days. It's always a pleasure being in CP, where it all happened, and to see y'all (I'm learning!) again.

I'm glad I got to talk with you too, Deuce. Overall, while I missed Damon, Frank and Amy, this was the best of the three Howard Days I've attended.

Had an amazing time with everyone again this year. It was really great seeing some familiar faces and meeting new folks.

Al, Jay, Alfred, it was great seeing you and eveyone else again. Deuce sorry my phone cut out Sunday---I was leaving Cross Plains and hit that dead area. But we'll continue it later.

I'm working on a detailed trip report right now and it should be up on TGR soon.

P.S. Tex, why haven't you made it to HDs yet? Mississippi's not that far away You'd love it!
