Your not sure how (some unnamed mysterious supernatural travel agency perhaps ) but you wake up and find your've been transported to the Hyborian Age.

There's an app for that...if only I could get some reception here.

Hopefully, I'd wake in one of the Hyborian Kingdoms in a small village where I can have a chance to get my bearings and learn the ways of the people without bringing too much attention to myself.

It depends, if you wake and you are in a peaceful little village in Brythunia with blonde girls everywhere could it be interesting, but if you wake in a battlefield...

By the way what about the language? Although you survive could be a handicap...

Take me to a city state and I'll work as a scribe. Literacy I can do. Swords are for the birds.

I'd probably end up trying to learn magical spells I shouldn't and having my sanity blasted.

I wouldn't survive 24 hours.

Ah... honesty is golden, isn't it?

No. Honesty is bitter gall.
"Did you deem yourself strong, because you were able to twist the heads off civilized folk, poor weaklings with muscles like rotten string? Hell! Break the neck of a wild Cimmerian bull before you call yourself strong. I did that, before I was a full-grown man...!" - Conan, in "Shadows in Zamboula", by Robert E. Howard
"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard
