Thought I'd post this here as I imagine to many of us old-timers John was the Kull artist in the comics!

The Robert E Howard Comics Group is dedicated to the characters created by Robert E Howard that have appeared in comic book form from Marvel Comics , Dark Horse Comics , BOOM Studios, Cross Plains Comics , Dynamite Entertainment etc.

Oh wow! He just did a beautiful run on "Edward Grey: Witchfinder" for Dark Horse. What a shame.

I agree. B) Not my favorite artist, but quite talented, nonetheless.

I wonder how Marie is doing?

When I was quite young I was a fan of Sgt Fury and His Howling Commandos -- the only Marvel comic I recall seeing, in fact, before I was introduced to Conan the Barbarian #4. (I'd taken a long hiatus from reading comics during my teens.) Severin's work was always outstanding, and those Kull issues with Marie were just fabulous. One of the greats.

Damn. Seems like we're losing a lot of the greats lately. :(
"It is more than a mortal sea. Your hands are red with blood and you follow a red sea-path, yet the fault is not wholly with you. Almighty God, when will the reign of blood cease?"

Turlogh shook his head. "Not so long as the race lasts."

--- The Dark Man, by Robert E. Howard
