Very nice Doug! I loved reading your blog.

I have an old paperback copy of "Black Caanan" that some of Howard's horror writing, but that is about it. I was totally suckered into buying it because I thought it was a Conan book at the time ...

Cool! BTW, Merritt fits right in your blog's ambit. Wagner considered Merritt's Burn, Witch, Burn one of the great supernatural horror novels.

Believe it or not, but "Burn Witch Burn" and "Creep Shadow" are the only two Merritt novels that I've never ben able to get my hands on. I'm doing my best to remedy that though! :-)

I took a long look at your blog and I am definitely going back. Looks sensational. Wonderful stuff. I had absolutely no idea that Stephen Vincent Benet wrote horror stories. An obvious labor of love. Geat job!
