Maybe Jane Austen was a descendant of Red Sonja? Had a secret side that went on trips to adventerous lands and kicked some ass. There's a mash-up.

Come ON! REH and Jane Austen? Doesn't everybody know it was Arthur Conan Doyle who originated Conan, even using his own middle name for the character? An unpublished short story, never completed, but REH was a Conan Doyle fan. When and how he saw the fragment I don't know ...
