if the conan movies have shown us anything (please dont hit me) is that cimmerian villages
allways get raided & burned to the ground

Butser Ancient Farm is an open-air museum west of London. I visted there once. It's what I picture a Cimmerian village to be like, but surrounded with more trees:

I was looking through their photos, and found one that showed a friendly Roman Legion attacking them. What fun!
Thing is, you would've seen a similar Irish Gaelic village in Eire just a mere thousand years ago.
