After the incredible effort of nine years at the helm as Administrator of the REH Forum, Bruce "Crom" Durham has decided it's time to step down.

Apart from overseeing the Forum in general and being top-level support for the Moderators, Bruce has also done more invisible technical tasks such as validating new members, keeping out spammers and bots, handling IP blocks, and more. All these tasks are absolutely necessary to keep the Forum running smoothly and Bruce has handled them with the greatest dedication to the benefit of the whole REH community.

Bruce, thank you for all you've done for the Forum, keeping it such a well-run place all of these years. Now enjoy your well-deserved "retirement" and being able to partake in discussions as a regular member of the community. I am certain all Forum members join me as I raise a flagon of mead in your honor, by Crom!

Hard to imagine the Forum without Bruce's steady (and often unappreciated) hand at the helm. NOBODY put more time and effort into this forum than Mr. Durham. The end of an era.

I don't post so much anymore but this is truly an end of an era. Few members know just how much Bruce gave to this site in time, effort, creativity and passion, but I can attest that Bruce's drive for excellence molded this site and the moderating team to think bigger than it was - to make this forum different than the normal fan favorite forums. I've travelled a bit on the web and this forum is unique - and I think it's the atmosphere and environment you built and fostered as Administrator, not just the unique layout but also the tone and level of the discussions. Kudos to you Bruce - respect. Enjoy the hockey playoffs and your time off.

Several years after I registered and started posting, I still think this is one of best online communities I've ever been a part of, and I think we have Bruce to thank for a great deal of it. Those malicious banes of other forums - trolls, spammers, robots, sock puppets, what have you - were met with swift and merciless destruction, allowing like-minded people to converse without the din of the braying hordes to distract them.

Enjoy your well-earned rest, Crom: you've been the best administrator I think this forum could ever hope for.
