Frankly, my initial reaction is "WHAT THE F***?"

But at least they don't appear to be porn.

Stumbled on these covers looking for images of "Worms of the Earth." (honest, I did ;) )

I would say something about making a lazy dollar, but these all appear free.

If all they did was change names and pronouns I'll pass.

That doesn't take any work at all. Your word processor can do that while you nap.
"Did you deem yourself strong, because you were able to twist the heads off civilized folk, poor weaklings with muscles like rotten string? Hell! Break the neck of a wild Cimmerian bull before you call yourself strong. I did that, before I was a full-grown man...!" - Conan, in "Shadows in Zamboula", by Robert E. Howard
"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard

Sword Man: Tales of Dark Angus.
"It is more than a mortal sea. Your hands are red with blood and you follow a red sea-path, yet the fault is not wholly with you. Almighty God, when will the reign of blood cease?"

Turlogh shook his head. "Not so long as the race lasts."

To be honest, I would not object to some of the stories being re-written to reverse the gender of the main characters. But I think the stories should be written in such a way as to explain why a female barbarian left her native land. And give us some new material, or twists, to add some new and unique experiences in reading the stories.

She left her homeland because guys kept taking pictures of her and posting them on the Barbarian Women thread :P

Are you willing to bet money on that? After checking out those covers and titles, I'm not so sure.

I saw these books about 2 years ago when I began writing. They are all listed on smashwords.com. Lot's of crazy stuff out there.

I still don't figure how you can genger switch a story, but you can't publish your own Conan story. But hey, I guesst that's the way it is.

Conyna the Cimmerian in: "The Frost-Giant's Son". ;)

King of the Black Coast.

And that should be "The Frost Giantess' Son".

Salome Kane.

Gender-switching "People of the Black Circle" would be a real dog. I shudder to think.

I want to invert this and write a story about 'Red Sunny' defending Vienna against a horde of Turkic pony girls.
