Ex-Oakland Raiders player Ben Davidson, better known to Conan aficionados as High Priest Rexor from "Conan the Barbarian" (1982) has passed away at the age of 72.

RIP indeed.
One of the standout characters of football. As a life-long Raider-hater, I still have to tip my cap.
I'm sure the same will hold true with CtB-haters, too...

Agreed. Ben was a bad-a$$ with a lot of charisma. One of the more "Howardian" athletes of the last 50yrs.

I had always hoped to meet him one day, at a comic-con or something. As a kid, he was one of my favorite villians. When he showed up in the orgy chamber, and uttered "YOU!" , I loved when Conan(ahnold) flexed his muscles in a non verbal responce of "Let's go!"
