For so, so many he was "the Sgt Rock artist", however I remember him best for his Tarzan. We'll miss you Joe.

Joe was a great that shared.
HE worked with the best and his character will stand the test of time. He was a giant in his field for being so humble. RIP Joe!!

Damn...another of the comic greats passes. I still have that poster on my wall of the cover art he did for Conan, Solomon Kane and Kull a few years ago.

Saw some of his Tarzan in a hardcover collection at the University of Virginia library.It was volume 1, hopefully they will get them all.
