anything on FB or maybe you can post the art here?
"Here's to brother Painbrush, we drink to his Shade..."
"All Art Is Martial"- RZA
"Our basic purist premise:
ROBERT E. HOWARD, ENTIRELY ALONE, WITHOUT ASSISTANCE FROM ANY OTHER PERSON, CREATED THE CHARACTER CONAN OF CIMMERIA. NO OTHER PERSON OR PERSONS SHOULD BE INTRUDING THEIR WORK INTO THE VOLUMES OF HOWARD'S CONAN STORIES.
In essence, we believe that the work of any creative artist -- writer, painter, illustrator, musician, what-have-you -- is a unique expression of an artistic point of view. It should not be appropriated or altered by others without the artist's consent. No other writer has Robert E. Howard's unique point of view, and no other writer knows what Howard would have done with his character had he lived. Upon his death, his canon, the expression of his artistic vision, became fixed. Tampering with it now is desecration."

Though it has been a while since I read Almuric....did he bring guns with him to Almuric or was it not his essence?
Can't wait to see your inks.

The curve in panel 2 (the sweep of the wing, the half arch of the ruins) draws the eye toward the center of the action and is nicely balanced by the winged figure poised in mid-air.
Esau Cairn (Ironhand) arrived on Almuric as naked as the Terminator (and for similar reasons).
Only one of the panels will be chosen. So far the tally is one vote for panel 1, two votes for panel 2 and one vote for panel 4.
And of course, this and other art will only be created if the Kickstarter is successful (spread the word!): http://www.kickstart...f=home_location

Nice indeed, I like the composition so far of the panels, especially on frame 2.

The natives had guns on Almuric.

They did indeed, according to Graphic Novel by the beautiful Thomas / Conrad, so if Thomas has it there, it must be in original.

I need to reread Almuric tbh, it has been a while. The raw direct writing of Howard was powerful at that time.
Chrs Deuce for correcting me, sorry about the curveball Gaul.
There is another thread somewhere regarding REH Role Playing games btw. I will stick it up when I find up. (U may already have seen it)

Bring Robert E Howard's sole Sword and Planet adventure to the gaming table.
Campaign setting and adventure ideas inspired by Robert E Howard's (creator of Conan) incomplete Sword and Planet novel Almuric. For use in tabletop RPGs. Writing is mostly done (currently 41 pages) and funds will be used to pay illustrators to add artwork to this work. Current rule set adaptations to Barbarians of Lemuria and Classic D&D.

GreenGaul, download your Almuric the other day.
I have to say that I am impressed with the quality and production.
Looking forward to seeing what you do withthe OD&D version.
And force upon Mankind the Freedom he fears--
And dead gods I will again defy?"
