We've got "YouTube Goodness", and I thought it might be fun to have something like that, but just about martial arts. Western, Asian...cool, stupidly funny....whatever.

My guess is a lot of you know of some cool videos I haven't seen, and I'm keen to see them.

Since I'm a Wing Chun guy, and since Bruce Lee is who he is, I figured I'd get the ball rolling with a good Wing Chun Bruce Lee vid.

Starting at 2:03, they break down how fast that little bastard was. I know all those moves, and I can do them, but to do them that fast?

I can't do that....

....yet.

This is one of my all time favorite movie fights.

Jackie Chan in his prime VS Benny "The JET" Urquidez(Kickboxer with a 53-0 record!)

Ooo this is a topic I will have to make a concerted effort to post only once a day in. :)

This is one of my favorites, from Chocolate, which if you haven't seen it, is about this autistic girl who can instantly learn martial arts moves via observation - she starts out watching Tony Jaa movies and then picks stuff up from every enemy she crosses. Yes, the premise is ridiculous, but this scene really jumped out at me...when the bad guys decide to fight fire with fire...totally off the wall.

Another favorite of mine, from my all time favorite Kung Fu flick, Crippled Avengers (Return of The Five Deadly Venoms). Took me about twenty two years to track down this movie as I never knew the name of it. I'd seen it on Samurai Sunday as a kid in Chicago. Then my oldest friend came to visit and popped it into my DVD player randomly.

As far as awesome martial arts movie clips go, there are few movies with as many memorable scenes as Tony Jaa's "The Protector," such as the single take "staircase" scene:

The scene where he fights a chinese sword user and a Capoeira guy:

The infamous bone breaking scene where he wrecks like 50 guys:

And finally the scene where he fights the 3 biggest guys in the world:

I liked the elephant bone fu.
"Did you deem yourself strong, because you were able to twist the heads off civilized folk, poor weaklings with muscles like rotten string? Hell! Break the neck of a wild Cimmerian bull before you call yourself strong. I did that, before I was a full-grown man...!" - Conan, in "Shadows in Zamboula", by Robert E. Howard
"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard
