To be honest, I'm a little bit embarrassed about how much it is making me smile, but what can you do!

is that the cartoon one or the live action one featuring the great Rolf Mueller

I always kind of liked Ralf Moeller, but always felt bad for him, especially during some (well, all) of those cheesy episodes. He really seemed to be trying, and to care.

Judging from the clunky sword, it must be the live action series.
"Did you deem yourself strong, because you were able to twist the heads off civilized folk, poor weaklings with muscles like rotten string? Hell! Break the neck of a wild Cimmerian bull before you call yourself strong. I did that, before I was a full-grown man...!" - Conan, in "Shadows in Zamboula", by Robert E. Howard
"... you speak of Venarium familiarly. Perhaps you were there?"
"I was," grunted [Conan]. "I was one of the horde that swarmed over the hills. I hadn't yet seen fifteen snows, but already my name was repeated about the council fires." - "Beyond the Black River", by Robert E. Howard

The episode titled "A Friend in Need" is OK. Ralf delivers a pretty good line after a pretty nifty sword battle. I've rewatched this one a few times. Probably the best of the bunch. I think Karella (sp?) and most of the other women in the show were pretty darn watchable. Better eye-candy than the last Conan movie.
