Its impossible to silence/convince the naysayers, i prefer to try and keep a positive attitude and see what happens. My hopes are for the best possible movie even though reality keeps me grounded in the fact that all my hopes and dreams will not be met. If we true purist fans keep demanding a true to REH adaption as loudly and intelligently as we can perhaps someday our voices will be heeded. Untill then ill hope for the best and anxiously await further details regarding the new film/films.

thanks duce:) been lurking but not posting. for some reason i imagine a higher population than the medieval or roman ages. cant say what i base that on...i would love to hear the opinions and reasons from other members.

considering the Hyborian age is " An age undreamed of" i dont think going with strictly real world historical weapons and armor is the right fit. Conan and the hyborian age are an amalgam of real world people, places, and times with a healthy dose of fantasy mixed in. i dont like seeing outlandish weapons or armor but some fantasy ornamentation ads to the age undreamed of feel. Conan is not historical fiction, its fantasy with some reality added .
