Ive read the Robert E Howard stories too many times to want it to be adapted word for word on a screen.  Give us a new story hollywood with howard infused substance.  Video game movie producers i think take the same view point that you shouldnt copy a games story word for word..... but of course that never really works out in the end does it?.. in pleasing the fans.  DOH!... I have faith in this conan movie and in the uncharted movie starring marky mark lol

I loved the conan the barbarian teaser.  It sort of tingled my neck with its mysterious figures coming out of the smoke and tense voice of the announcement dialogue. I sure do want to enter the world of the barbarian and why hate this announcement teaser line? all of the conan stories center around...ummm...conan so why would we not be happy with being told to prepare to enter the "world of the barbarian." . The heavy voice of conan at the end uttering my absolute favorite line from the queen of the black coast brought tears to my eyes. The teaser was simple coolness.  Of course im one who liked the arnold movie's world design and thought the environments and powerful feeling of the milius action story reminded me of howards visions.  But im really hoping characters and their development are brought to the forefront for this new 3d movie.

One thing I like to bare in my mind is that why adapt a howard story word for word?  Just make a good unique story.  I dont even care if they call the main character conan the bovarian
