Seriously -
I seem like the only person on this forum that does not like Timothy Truman's art. It just really seems like a step down from Nord's work. It looks like very mid-90's average comic book art to me.
No, I can't draw it better myself (to answer all you weenies)! He is a professional, and I admire every professional artist for being able to do what I cannot.
But it just seems like a step down.
Anyone else, or am I alone?

Yet Another Question About Mcfarlane Figures....
22 July 2005 - 05:53 PM
Hey everybody -
I'm new here, but I will be around for a long time. Great to be here.
Anyway, here's the question:
Got my Skifell figure yesterday. Like my Conan of Cimmeria figure, he had a weapon that had a unremovable knob/pommel at the bottom of the handle, therefore making it impossible to fit into his closed hand/fist.
(Unlike, say, the Conan the Indomitable figure, which had a sword with a removable knob/pommel at the end, making it easy to fit into his hands - even though I leave it in the sheath)
I have been forced to twist off (thus breaking it off) the pommel, putting in their hands, and then Crazy Glue-ing it back onto the weapon - thus making their residence in the hands pretty damn permanent! (Which they would be anyway, I guess)
Am I doing this the hard way? Does anyone else have this problem, or am I experiencing a manufacturing defect? What are your solutions?
Thanks!
