This is the same story we saw on Argus Deception. Belit calls Conan a fool for thinking she would never rescue him in jail.

Because this whole issue takes place in a whacked-out, psychedelic trip and they revisit places they've already been.  Next issue Conan the Caterpillar blossoms into a beautiful butterfly and learns the true meaning of love.

Yeah, I messed up with it and got too tired to fix it.  I redone it today and updated facebook and deviant.  It should have shown the setting skies over the city etc.  It is a young sun away back a million years etc, so more hostile and flares all over the show till it settles in are era according to the writer...so he wanted it really fired up.  Hopefully it is.  

Ah ok, I figured it was the sun but wasn't sure since there's no dialogue yet.  Anyhow, I like your improvements upon it, and it's easier to tell now. It definitely does look hostile!

Unfortunately, GRRM seems to think human "mules" and "geldings" are somehow superior to war-trained stallions. Just one reason I quit reading the series halfway through book three. Benioff and Weiss are the "editors" that Martin's bloated door-stoppers needed (almost) from the beginning. 

deuce, you quit reading right before some of the most exciting scenes in the series.  The last half of book 3 is great!  I will agree with you about Martin needing more editing, but I don't think it's really necessary until books 4 and 5.  While they're still good installments (especially book 5), they could easily be cut down and released as one book.  I have faith that Benioff and Weiss will be doing some serious hacking in order to make the TV show better.
