I registered here a while ago but something happened to my account so I had to reregister (thats why I appear so new) but I wanted to drop in and tell you all about our Clan in the game I'm sure many of you have heard about: Age of Conan

That is our Clan website (stop in the forums and say Hi!).

I have been reading the works of REH my whole life, and was started down the road by my mother, our Clan is full of REH Purists (We've been labeled Loremongers, and I wear that badge proudly), and all of the more knowledgeable about Conan, both REH Canon and the pastiches, and REH writings in general have gravitated to us.

I am a Clan Elder, as is someone you might recognize from his website http://amrathelion.com , that he is the webmaster of (he goes by the handle AmratheLion, of course).

We are responisble for keeping Funcom (the game's developers of the game) from making a few glaring lore-conflicting mistakes, the Scourge or Derketo class being a glaring example... at first Sytigians were resctricted from that class (lol), and we feel that its though our constant and consistant stand that even though we know concession must be made for the new media type (MMO), staying true to the REH Canon is an absolute imperetive. Things like the new lore realeases on the community portal of the http:ageofconan.com website and a new focus toward consistancy with REH's vision are in no small part due to our influence.

We are one of the few Clans to have the devs come to OUR forums and post, and we are all known as clearing houses for knowledge, REH quotes, and a no-bull**** attitude about Howard's writings, and pretty much life in general!

So if any of you have been giving this game a look, come check us out!
