Hi all, i've now had confirmed by John Betancourt of Wildside Press that a possible vol 4 of the single volume series will be issued and thats it for the paperback/trade editions with no more being issued.  The limited hardcovers will finish at the proposed 10 vols.

And remembering that the Cosmos five volume set will also continue.

Ok, thats interesting, but i guess these are going to be truncated from the limited hardback editions and the possible (up to) 4 single volumes due to copyright issues?, so can hardly be advertised as the complete Weird Tale works of ReH?, unless you can confirm as otherwise.

I'm firmly in the NO camp on this one.  These things are nearly always bad, and Conan belongs in the world of Hyboria not alongside the Avengers et al or vice versa.  Please, DH dont do this, if Conan as a title is steadily losing readers hence the re-boot this will only lose u more of the faithfull as u denigrate a great character.  For example, i stuck with the current Red Sonja from issue one to present, thru wavering storylines and art until i learnt of the forth coming Spidey/Sonja crossover which will tie into continuity.  I've now dropped that title.  This is the only way i as a buyer can vote with effect to register my dislike of gimmicky concepts.  Sorry to be negative, i think overall DH have done a great job on the Conan title, i just dont want to see it dragged down by frippery.

I want the book as well, but your reply suggests someone holding out to be paid off, i.e. Wandering Star, do they hold the rights to the proofs? Hot or cold.

Pretty warm.

Rusty, i think that's a real shame, considering the amount of work u and others put into those books.

I understand from an earlier post from Rusty Burke that Wandering Star have stopped publishing, so there will be no 3rd volume.   :(

Not from Wandering Star -- but I am holding out hope that some day someone will put up the money it will take to publish the book (it involves a bit more than simply printing costs, but I'm not really at liberty to go into it).  I want that book.
