I'm fairly new to the world of Robert E. Howard and his characters, but I like what I've seen so far. I'm interested in reading Howard's material in its original form. What I'd like to know is, how heavily edited were the Centaur Press Solomon Kane books? I have heard conflicting accounts, some saying they are as they originally appeared, others saying they were edited for racial references and other matters. Also, did those 3 books reprint all of Howard's Solomon Kane material, or was some left out? I'd love to get the more recent collections of Howard's Solomon Kane material, but they are far out of my price range.
AI have also started picking up some of the Robert E. Howard library collections. Are those stories edited also, or are they pretty much in their original form?
Thanks in advance.
