Don't remember well enough to address the first one, but there is a scene in which Jehnna wakes up screaming after a nightmare and Bombaata rushes in to comfort her.  I don't recall exactly where in the movie it occurs.

Rusty

I believe it happened in the ice castle just after Arnold beat the monster of the mirrors.

The first one I think is a montage of two different scenes. I don't remember enough to be for certain

Wasn't Doc Savage: Man of Bronze made into a movie some years back?

From what I remember, it was quite campy, akin the the Adam West Batman series.  I didn't even get through the entire film.  Its been nearly 30 years, so my memory's fuzzy.  It starred Ron Eli from the Tarzan TV series.

Oh yeah... Ron Ely. I always got the impression that he was more into himself than into his acting.

made a better game show host than an actor IMO

It's not just Howard, it's classic adventure-pulp. When I first saw "The Mummy," several years ago, my immediate thought was that the art director or production designer must have studied the cover of every adventure pulp ever published. Countless times in the movie you could have gone to a freeze-frame and had a perfect cover for an issue of Golden Fleece or Magic Carpet or any of the other oriental-adventure pulps of the golden age.

Have to agree with you completely on this one.
Would also add that several of Brandon fraiser's close ups could have come directly off of the covers of the old Doc Savage magazine.

Quite right, Kane.  B)  I'd noticed the same thing.  Y'all, check out this link to Nostalgia Ventures (courtesy of Bill Thom's awesome Coming Attractions), look at those covers and tell me what you think...
