I've been playing through the game and I've got to say I'm really enjoying it. It's very old school and quite simple but it's fun (and that's the main thing I look for in a computer game). I don't think it's going to wreck Conan's image at all. It may not be the Conan as portrayed in Robert E Howard's original stories but it's certainly the Conan that I suspect is already ingrained in the mind of the average joe.
Speaking of the original R E Howard stories, I've just started reading them (I got the centenary edition book - very nice) and I'm suprised at how much I like them. I've always been interested in the character of Conan since seeing the films but had never read the original stories. Given how old they are I was worried that they might seem a little dry, but nothing of the sort!
