Here's something that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere before:

Conan the Barbarian: 2012 Wall Calendar

According to Amazon, it's due out in July.

Going by the cover, I wonder if it will be strictly comic book images, or maybe they'll include interpretations from other media as well, ie. Frazetta paintings, stills from the original movie, Savage Sword covers, etc.

I haven't read these books since I was in high school in the eighties. I was taking an oil painting class on the weekends at this little old lady's house. Most of the students in the class were older, retired folk. They painted still life, seascapes and such. But there was one guy, in his twenties, he was copying Boris's cover for the first book, The Ring of Ikribu. Bam! I was hooked. I knew Sonja was in the Conan comics, but that was about it. I never knew there were books about her exploits. It wasn't long before I had them all from my local B.Dalton. Good times. If memory serves, Sonja lost her top in battle in every one of those books.

I found this on Michael Moorcock's site, a tidbit from late last year:

MM: "I like Dark Horse and am still baffled why they appeared to drop my Conan story which they seemed to like, discussed artists and numbers of issues etc. and then seemed to disappear!

Then a reply from someone with connections to Dark Horse:

AG: "Dark Horse has been nudged. Expect an email or phone call or both. I don't think many or any of the people that were involved in the Conan goings on are still there, but I think there are many other things they'd like to discuss with you."
