Atula, I give you an A+ for effort, for attitude and for execution. :) However, your BMM is WAY beefier than the chieftain of the Wolf tribe described in the yarns of REH. Also, Howard described Bran as having more finely-moulded features. Thirdly, the background is wrong. I've only been to the s-w quarter of Scotland, but I can say with confidence that there is nowhere within the borders of the entire nation of Scotland (or all the British Isles, for that matter) that the background of your artwork could be found. Finally, Bran's sword resembles nothing I know from 3rd century Europe (or REH's "historical" Pictish tales). What about the mighty, all-conquering Gorm? Or Teyanoga? Still, a fine piece of work. My two lunas. :)

not piling on but....

your are sooo right..and I personally hated ernie chan in savage sword..dude stayed around forever...ugh..

but its a great attempt and a lot of work..thanks for posting it..

My first post..hello everyone..

I've been an REH psycho fan 30yrs now...picked up my first Howard story at the tender age of 13..made a man outta me..

anyway..I 'm not sure who would make a good Bran..someone physical..dark..smallish but strong...

as for other Howard characters I think Gerard Butler would be a fantastic Cormac(one of my favs)..or even a turlough dubh..

look forward to talking to all you fine folks...this place is a dream come true..

peace from Kentucky.
