Just out of curiosity, how does Howard's boxing tales break down? I know Sailor Steve Costigan / Sailor Dennis Dorrigan are his most widely known characters, but what about the rest of his boxing fiction? A lot of one and done characters?
That is awesome that you are putting in some non-fiction in there too. I bet its a great look back into that window of boxing history.
They don't make fighters like they use to that's for sure, save for some of the lighter guys. I followed boxing for a while in 2008-2011, but kind of fell out of it, so my statement might not be that accurate.
I more or less like listening to old fights or watching Classic Boxing on ESPN or HBO. Hagler-Hearns, Leonard-Hearns, Leonard-Hagler...Tyson whooping on people, etc.

I have been working my way through the Black Company series via the Omnibus collections on the GooglePlay store. Pro Tip, The Omnibus collections are cheaper than buying the individual novels by far.
I really liked the Books of the North and the series is getting even better. I think I have 4 books left to read.
His writing style on these does take some getting used to, as he writes them as the Annalist of the Company, Croaker. So since Croaker is writing this for people who live in that world, he doesn't stop and explain everything right away. It is an interesting look at what life in an elite mercenary company would be like in a fantasy world though.
That Swordbearer novel looks good too. I saw that on Amazon and was thinking about reading it after the Black Company.

Finally! I have been waiting for these. Del Rey met my needs with their collections, but it was obvious a science fiction publisher wasn't going to do boxing collections.
I'm glad the Foundation is putting these out and I can't wait to put them on my shelf next to the Del Rey collections.
